How does a large organization prepare for the needs of an ultra-connected workforce? In 2013, I launched a tool that allows BMW Financial Services employees to give virtual “high fives” using a social media based platform that resides on our corporate intranet.
In August of 2011, I launched the “Ultimate Drive” smartphone app. It allows users to share and discover the best roads to drive all over the world. It quickly became a top downloaded app with hundreds of thousands of users.
In 2006 I was hired by BMW to launch a “startup” within the company to finance cars of ANY make and model (other than BMWs). My team and I launched up2drive.com, an online auto finance company that quickly became an industry leader in just a few years. In addition to forming partnerships with top auto sites like Edmunds.com, AutoTrader and eBay Motors, we launched the industry first social media based customer service platform that pretty much saved the world from total destruction.
The PEP Talks (PEP stands for Passion, Experience, People) were recurring speaking engagements I hosted that showcase local professionals who are passionate about what they do and are eager to share their wisdom to students.
